These are running a recent OpenWrt 15.05+ 'Chaos Calmer' checkout. While TP-Link is marketing this model as a hardware revision of the TL-WR1043ND, it really is a new model:
- new SoC
- newer CPU (720 MHz MIPS 74Kc vs. 400 MHz MIPS 24Kc)
- twice the RAM (64 MB vs. 32 MB)
- 802.11n 450 Mbps (Three spatial streams instead of two on the v1)
